Jean-Philippe Deugnier is a French visual artist whose practice combines photography, sculpture, collage and archival material. His projects investigate the way images carry memory and how objects, documents and architectural traces contribute to the construction of heritage. Photography is often used as a starting point, but the final work may involve cutting, assembling, layering or translating an image into another material form.
