Ghizlane Agzenaï is a Moroccan visual artist based in Casablanca whose practice spans painting, sculpture, installation, mural work and design. She is best known for brightly colored geometric compositions that she calls ‘totems.’ Built from interlocking forms, sharp angles and rhythmic blocks of color, these works move between abstraction, architecture and symbolic objects. Agzenaï works on canvas, paper, wood, metal, walls and public structures, adapting the same visual language to intimate formats and large-scale environments.
Her recent activity shows an expanding international practice. The solo exhibition Dimension 2112: The Station opened at La Galerie 38 in Marrakech in February 2026, presenting new work connected with futuristic architecture, movement and spatial perception. In June 2026, Centro Português de Serigrafia published a new interview and introduced silkscreen editions developed with the artist. These projects extend her interest in printmaking, color and geometry while maintaining links with Moroccan modernism and the legacy of the Casablanca School. Agzenaï’s work is designed to operate physically and emotionally, changing how a viewer experiences a surface or space. The result is a recognizable practice that combines optimism, visual precision and a strong engagement with public and architectural settings.
