Miloš Karadaglić

Miloš Karadaglić is a Montenegrin classical guitarist born in 1983 and based in London. He began playing as a child in Montenegro and moved to the United Kingdom at seventeen to study at the Royal Academy of Music. His international career developed after his 2011 debut album Mediterraneo, followed by recordings devoted to Latin American repertoire, Joaquín Rodrigo, the Beatles, new concertos and Baroque music. He performs on a 2017 Greg Smallman guitar and has appeared with the London and Los Angeles philharmonics and leading orchestras in the United States and Europe.

Karadaglić’s programmes place the classical guitar in dialogue with orchestral, chamber and popular traditions. His arrangements and commissions move between Bach, Handel, Vivaldi, Villa-Lobos and contemporary composers, while Blackbird recasts Beatles songs for the instrument. The Moon & the Forest presents concertos by Howard Shore and Joby Talbot, and Baroque pairs him with the ensemble Arcangelo and conductor Jonathan Cohen. This breadth reflects his interest in expanding the guitar’s repertoire and audience.

In 2026, the Miloš Foundation marked three years of supporting young musicians and other emerging artists from Montenegro and the wider Western Balkans. His autumn schedule includes Of Breath and Bone with accordionist Ksenija Sidorova at Wigmore Hall in London on 7 October 2026. The programme combines music by Sylvius Leopold Weiss, Malcolm Arnold, Ástor Piazzolla, Sergey Akhunov, Jorge Cascudo and Pietro Roffi.
