Liran Finzi is a photographer based in central Rome who works under the name Rome by Finzi. His practice focuses on couples, families, proposals, weddings and individual portraits made in public spaces across the city. He describes a clean, contemporary approach built around direction and spontaneous interaction, and works in English, French and Italian.
Finzi plans sessions around Rome’s light, architecture and visitor rhythms. Locations such as the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon and Piazza Navona become part of the composition rather than neutral backdrops. He leads each shoot in person and edits the images himself, with emphasis on natural movement, clear expression and the relationship between people and place. His portfolio also includes work in Paris.
The official site documents current activity throughout 2026. A guide published on 27 October 2026 explains how he photographs people while walking, using movement to produce less static gestures and expressions. Other October articles discuss routes, winter light and practical conditions for photographing in Rome. These dated materials, together with recent portfolio sessions and booking availability, confirm an active commissioned practice. Rome by Finzi presents photography as both a service and a record of travel, relationships and urban experience.
