Siniša Radulović is a Montenegrin visual artist based in Podgorica, where he was born in 1983. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cetinje. Working across video, photography, painting, objects and immersive installation, he examines how intimate experience is shaped by collective systems, technological images and the post-socialist environment. His projects often move between physical and simulated space, combining familiar domestic forms with unsettling shifts of scale. Repetition, staged architecture and analogue photographic processes allow him to explore belonging, control, memory and the tension between standardised social structures and individual life. His work is represented in public collections including the Museum of Contemporary Art of Montenegro, the National Museum of Montenegro and the Deutsche Telekom Collection.
In 2026, Radulović represents Montenegro at the 61st Venice Biennale with Out of the Blue, I’m Swept Away, on view at Spazio Artenova from 9 May to 22 November. The multimedia installation transforms the floor plan of his apartment into a glass-covered grid populated by thousands of small human figures. Videos, sound, wet-collodion photographs and a suspended photographic enlarger create a contrasting upper realm of fluid light and moving images. The work links the private space of home to broader systems of discipline, repetition and social organisation, while its changing scale places viewers inside the tension between enclosure and release. By bringing digital modelling together with singular analogue photographs, Radulović asks what kinds of images might still offer refuge, connection and renewal.
